Sick Building
A supposedly uninhabited corridor falls prey to a gelatinous entity: Slowly a white fluid seeps forth from behind a corner, drops upward from floor to ceiling and forms stalactites. Cut adrift from all physical laws, normality becomes unhinged. Practical architecture meets science fiction: Something is haunting the interior space, in an alarming way.
(Berd Oppl)
Before the viewers´ gaze, an empty, sterile space appears. Behind a corner, a white, gelatine-like substance flows out, forming a puddle. The liquid begins to form stalactites and drip from the floor onto the ceiling. The viscous, bio organic substance begins to take over the space and disperse in it chaotically, like an organic creature, until it collects itself and rigidifies into drip-stone-like shapes.
