Stills: A Movie

The film consists of photo sequences. During filming, either the camera was moved or the objects were changed in a performative manner. The soundtrack features the synchronous and asynchronous transport noise of a slide projector. Random material noises are left as a second sound layer. The film “moves” between the frames. The sound suggests “movement” and the text allows associations with image and sound to arise. The story is ambiguous, the images are real. A cinematic, poetic experiment. (Linda Christanell)
