Some gymnastic exercises

In costumes and partially masked, Scheirl, Pürrer, Bauer, and Jurtschitsch perform a number of gymnastics exercises. Balancing and floating on top of and over each other in various poses, they repeatedly fail to hold their positions for any length of time and happily start over again. Initially in black and white, the film suddenly changes to color. Against a gold-orange background, the gladiator holds herself majestically on the horse-drawn carriage – for a brief moment, at least. (Magdalena Steffan)
