On Easter Sunday on Pürrer and Scheirl’s television, a Catholic program is playing, with the crucified Christ omnipresent in sculpture and painting. The lights and kitschy Madonnas with which the apartment is decorated, coupled with the experimental music of Throbbing Gristle, create a peculiar atmosphere. Scheirl, covered by a transparent cloth, lies sprawled out like an eroticized Christ in the grave. (Magdalena Steffan)
