Untitled

Cinema is movement. For the length of a 100 foot roll, the camera locks onto another mechanism of transportation to create a field of excitement, an optical print of movement of light and dark. Changes in spatial relationships (/dimensionalities) and velocity occur due to the mechanics of the camera/projector and the eye. (T.K. 1990)
